What are the benefits of sending my child to the nursery at an
early age?
Early exposure to an enriching and nurturing social context
that helps children develop their social and communication
skills
Learning to live with others and embrace differences and
nuances
Appreciating and respecting values and social codes
Learning new skills in a structured, age-appropriate
environment
What are the benefits of a trilingual program?
When planned and administered properly, a multilingual program
helps with:
Developing ease in communication with people from different
languages and cultures
Exposure to the literature available in the three languages
thus adding variety and scope to the written language and
print material available to children
Significantly enhancing cognitive development
How often do the children go outside?
At least 45 minutes per day
This time is divided between structured playtime where the
children follow instructions from their teacher and free
playtime where they get to enjoy their time in any way they
choose
What are the procedures followed when a child is sick?
The child is sent to the Nurse to check on him/her and rest
The nurse calls the parents and asks them to pick up their
child
The nurse does not give any medication to the sick child
without calling the parents and asking for permission
What are the cleaning procedures in the nursery?
The toys are cleaned and sterilized weekly
We make sure that all classes are sterilized every single
morning
The janitors clean the class whenever the kids are outside
the class
What are the potty training procedures?
when the child is 2 years old we can start potty training
The child has to show signs of readiness and the process
will be smooth and easy
We communicate and collaborate with the parents so that the
same process is followed both at the nursery and at home to
obtain the goal
How many settling sessions/days do I get with my child?
For three consecutive days, the mother and child attend
together for an hour and then leave together
On the fourth day, the child stays in class for about one
and half hours without his/her mother
On the fifth day, we leave the child in class with his
classmates until naptime. If he/she accepts to sleep then
this is a sign that he/she is settled
If not, then the child leaves with his mother
How long will it take for my child to settle into the nursery?
There is no set standard time
Each child is different in adjusting
We have to take into consideration any family situation or
other things that the child might be facing (newborn, new
house, divorce, mother-started work, father travelling…)
What happens if I want to nurse (breastfeed) my child during
the day?
It would be better to start spacing out the breastfeeding
and come to a moment when during the day, the child can
drink milk in a bottle
Whom should I speak to if I have any concerns?
Depending on the issue, you can speak with the teacher, the
psychologist or the manager
It is very important to communicate with us because our main
concern is also yours: the wellbeing of the child

intolerances for example)?

Wash the child’s hair using anti-lice shampooing to help get
rid of the lice
The child stays at home for three days in order not to
transmit lice to his/her classmates
