  • What are the benefits of sending my child to the nursery at an early age?
    • Early exposure to an enriching and nurturing social context that helps children develop their social and communication skills
    • Learning to live with others and embrace differences and nuances
    • Appreciating and respecting values and social codes
    • Learning new skills in a structured, age-appropriate environment
  • What are the benefits of a trilingual program?
    When planned and administered properly, a multilingual program helps with:
    • Developing ease in communication with people from different languages and cultures
    • Exposure to the literature available in the three languages thus adding variety and scope to the written language and print material available to children
    • Significantly enhancing cognitive development
  • How often do the children go outside?
    • At least 45 minutes per day
    • This time is divided between structured playtime where the children follow instructions from their teacher and free playtime where they get to enjoy their time in any way they choose
  • What are the procedures followed when a child is sick?
    • The child is sent to the Nurse to check on him/her and rest
    • The nurse calls the parents and asks them to pick up their child
    • The nurse does not give any medication to the sick child without calling the parents and asking for permission
  • What are the cleaning procedures in the nursery?
    • The toys are cleaned and sterilized weekly
    • We make sure that all classes are sterilized every single morning
    • The janitors clean the class whenever the kids are outside the class
  • What are the potty training procedures?
    • when the child is 2 years old we can start potty training
    • The child has to show signs of readiness and the process will be smooth and easy
    • We communicate and collaborate with the parents so that the same process is followed both at the nursery and at home to obtain the goal
  • How many settling sessions/days do I get with my child?
    • For three consecutive days, the mother and child attend together for an hour and then leave together
    • On the fourth day, the child stays in class for about one and half hours without his/her mother
    • On the fifth day, we leave the child in class with his classmates until naptime. If he/she accepts to sleep then this is a sign that he/she is settled
    • If not, then the child leaves with his mother
  • How long will it take for my child to settle into the nursery?
    • There is no set standard time
    • Each child is different in adjusting
    • We have to take into consideration any family situation or other things that the child might be facing (newborn, new house, divorce, mother-started work, father travelling…)
  • What happens if I want to nurse (breastfeed) my child during the day?
    • It would be better to start spacing out the breastfeeding and come to a moment when during the day, the child can drink milk in a bottle
  • Whom should I speak to if I have any concerns?
    • Depending on the issue, you can speak with the teacher, the psychologist or the manager
    • It is very important to communicate with us because our main concern is also yours: the wellbeing of the child
  • Do you cater for different dietary needs (diabetes or food intolerances for example)?
    • We can cater for different dietary needs
    • Usually, the parents prefer to send the food if the child has certain dietary needs
  • How long is the daily naptime for the children?
    • It depends on the age group of the children
    • KK2 children have a daily nap for 1h 30 minutes
    • Kk3 children have a daily nap of 1 hour
    • Students in Key 1 class and above have a nap of 45 minutes (IF NEEDED)
  • What are the procedures taken in the case of head lice?
    • There is no need to panic. Head lice is not a disease
    • Wash the child’s hair using anti-lice shampooing to help get rid of the lice
    • The child stays at home for three days in order not to transmit lice to his/her classmates
